God’s blessings are perpetual unto me, and Truth be known, to you as well! It’s all in how you look at it. Perpetual means never-ending, occurring repeatedly, so frequently as to seem endless and uninterrupted, and our Great and Gracious God’s perpetual blessings are available to everyone who loves Him and seek Him.
Every morning, tell him, “Thank You for your kindness,” and every evening rejoice in all his faithfulness. (Psalms 92 -2) The Lord’s mercies and compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is His faithfulness. I wish I could say I am a perfect soul who does not despair and instead, follows that message to our Father every day and night. I’m blessed even with my imperfections—and times I pray and cry to Him—that I’m completely and totally restored forever.
Seasons change our landscapes and lives. I hear change is good, but for some, It’s just hard! First snow at Gail Kittleson’sHere in Iowa, we cleared our deck in late October with snow already in the forecast. Gone were the red and pink geraniums, big pots of kale, spinach, and impatiens.
Be a blessing! That’s what we should strive to do. I pray for opportunities to be a blessing, and He is faithful to answer my prayers! God commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and what better way is there to show your love, God’s Love by your actions?
