Have you heard the saying that you can’t judge anyone until you walk a mile in their shoes? This is so true. Advice is so easily given and judgment quickly rendered on a situation others cannot totally understand. If they would wear my shoes for a day or even a few hours, my shoes would hurt their feet.
Comes the time in everyone’s life, when Help is needed! On the way back to Texas from a visit with my cousin in New Jersy, our car broke down in Georgia. Did I mention Ron and I were young then and we had three children in the car under the age of ten? HELP!
What are memories for?
Memories, I love them. There are days I walk outside, close my eyes, and simply breathe. I FEEL everything around me, and yet I feel transported in time to another place, another age, another memory; all stemming from what I’ve perceived through my senses. It thrums through my whole being and heart. Images replayed; people no longer with me—whether bad or good—are clear and visible.
How’s your ability to Focus? How do you figure Love fits in your Focus? At times, tunnel vision is very irritating to those around that person who is totally absorbed in a task. But if you’re on the operating table, you want your doctor focused on what he’s doing. A doctor needs focus.
Secrets are nasty things; they eat away inside of you and prevent peace. Until recently I had buried a secret because of its shame. I thought the incident my fault for being eighteen, naive and drunk. Recently God used a book to reveal that secret and begin the healing process.
It was three thirty in the morning, and I turned the light on to shine until daylight came. Maybe you are thinking that I was afraid of the dark, I wasn’t. I had been woken by some noisy rodents who like to play in the dark.
