I have Five Ways We can Overcome Trials and Tribulations and live in God’s Peace! Oh, how many trials and tribulations have I overcome? I testify that no matter what it is, God is able to handle it and helps me overcome! He wants us to live in peace, and we can be of good cheer or He wouldn’t tell us to! We know He has overcome the world, and because He has, and we are in Him, then so can we! We can overcome!
What are memories for?
Memories, I love them. There are days I walk outside, close my eyes, and simply breathe. I FEEL everything around me, and yet I feel transported in time to another place, another age, another memory; all stemming from what I’ve perceived through my senses. It thrums through my whole being and heart. Images replayed; people no longer with me—whether bad or good—are clear and visible.
It was three thirty in the morning, and I turned the light on to shine until daylight came. Maybe you are thinking that I was afraid of the dark, I wasn’t. I had been woken by some noisy rodents who like to play in the dark.
We all turn to favorite scriptures in times of distress as a refuge. Today we commemorate the seventy-sixth anniversary of the attack on the American fleet at Pearl Harbor that killed 2,403 people. The 1,177 aboard the USS Arizona represented many locales.
At fifteen I was not interested in how to be a fool for God. I felt foolish and awkward enough in my own skin at that age!
“… Choose you this day whom ye will serve … as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
There are always choices to make. Yesterday was one of those days for me. Do you know what I mean? Have you ever had one? Nothing life changing or threatening happened. Things that happened were disappointing, surprising in not so nice a way.
