Some lessons learned are taught in the most unusual ways when you least expect them. I had one on embracing stress, fear, worry, and anxiety over things that never come to fruition. And even if they do, God still takes care of me.
I planned, after prayer, to attend the SoCal Writers’ Conference last week. Actually, months of planning went into it. Stress, tears, and work. The first morning, the amazing Kathy Ide stood up to make announcements and said something profound.
Friendships are such a special gift from the Lord and God can use them mightily in our lives. They help us grow; they help us show Christ’s love to others; so many things are reflected in our friendships.
A couple of years ago, I realized I was a grumbler. I was miserable until a sister in Christ shared something with me that touched my heart deeply. I am thankful for amazing grace that turned my heart of misery into a thankful heart.
