The Word and the Music with Caryl McAdoos comes to HeartWings Blog

Love Your Neighbors as Yourself!

“Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”      Matthew 22:36-40

Be a blessing! That’s what we should strive to do. I pray for opportunities to be a blessing, and He is faithful to answer my prayers! God commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and what better way is there to show your love, God’s Love by your actions?

Caryl McAdoo prays for God to Make Me a Blessing and shares at HeartWings Blog

Some of my most wonderful relationships have come from performing a simple act to bless them. Whether clicking to simply share a fellow Christian entrepreneur’s new promotion company to sending a gift copy of one of my books to a reader friend . . . or friend of a friend.

If you’ve known me very long, you’ve probably heard me talking about God’s economy. It boils down to everyone getting blessed. Often I say it like this: No deal is a good deal unless everyone walks away blessed. I LOVE how He does that!

“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.” Deuteronomy 28:2

He uses so many little things to bless us . . . and He sometimes blesses us with HUGE things—-like new cars or houses or friends! (Movie deals, Lord?) But whether large or small, His blessings along with the many opportunities to BE a blessing keep me in a state of thankfulness.

I am so grateful for every one!

Greater Love has no man than to lay down his life for a friend

Caryl McAdoo is all about loving God! She currently writes four series: the historical Texas Romance; a contemporary Red River Romance; The Generations, Biblical fiction; and the Days of Dread Trilogy for young readers—all with a Christian sway. Known as the Singing Pray-er, she loves praising with new songs the Lord gives her and prays her story gives God glory! In 2008, she and high school sweetheart-husband Ron moved from the DFW area—home for fifty-plus years—to the woods of Red River County. Caryl counts four children and sixteen grandsugars life’s biggest blessings, believing all good things come from God. Besides glorifying Him, she hopes each title will also minister His love, mercy, and grace to its readers. Caryl and Ron live in Clarksville, the county seat, in the far northeast corner of the Lone Star State with two grandsons.
