Are you wandering in the wilderness? Are you struggling to find your way? Are you a prodigal child who has not yet returned to the loving, open arms of God? My memories of those days fade as each new day begins. Praise the Lord, our Almighty King of Kings!
“I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11
While I was struggling during my time in the wilderness, I could not fathom that God could possibly have any plans for my life. I spent 40 years in the dry, hot, arid, and empty wilderness, having turned my back on God. At the age of 22 I married an unbeliever ~ I did not completely return to God again until after his death when I was 62.

Do not listen to the lies of the devil. He does not want you to ever return to God. He wants to keep you for his own. He will tell you that God no longer loves you. He will tell you lies to trick and confuse you. He is still the snake in the garden. I am here to testify that God will never forsake you. Never, no matter what!
“Lord, you are like a shield that keeps me safe. You help me win the battle. Your strong right hand keeps me going. You bend down to make me great.” ~ Psalm 18:35 NIV
Are you still wandering in the wilderness? Stop, do not make a sound. Can you hear Him calling you, because certainly He is! He is waiting along the path just for you! Turn to Him now! Can you see Him there with His arms open wide?
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, LORD, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul.” ~ Psalm 143:8
