God’s Kind Provision may come through desire or guidance or any other number of ways!

But The Lord’s provision is sure; you can rely on Him, trust Him in all instances!

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalm 32:8

Like these clouds hovering around the Mogollon Rim, memories can be wispy and vague. Others remain as vivid as the day they occurred, and one such recollection reminds me of God’s gentle guidance to His abundant provision.

With my husband deploying to Iraq in 2009, I experimented staying at an Arizona retreat house: would the altitude help my frequent, debilitating sinus headaches? My body could no longer handle antibiotics or pain relievers, and every change in the barometric pressure incited a new infection.

The altitude did wonders for me—I could breathe, even in winter! Now air is a mighty great provision! Toward the end of my stay, I started looking for houses, even though it seemed unlikely we’d ever leave Iowa. It certainly became a desire of my heart.

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:4

But on my long walks around the area, foreclosure signs began to appear. We’d never dreamed of owning a second home, but with my husband earning more overseas, might it be possible? Long story short, it was. With God’s generous provision.

Gail Kittleson share of a Kind Provision from God at HeartWingsBlog.com

One day someone pointed out a cabin that would soon be for sale. I’ll never forget the first day I saw it! I kept watching, and one day the front door sported a foreclosure notice. The property seemed perfect. I still remember my sense of wonder that day—maybe my deep desire signified divine guidance.

Many e-mails later, my husband viewed the place, too, and we eventually decided to buy. Since then, he’s developed a photography hobby—what better place than gorgeous Arizona Rim Country?

Ah, such kind leading, and sweet provision, with the Lord’s loving eye upon us!

What memorable provision has God made for you?
