Ah, confidence is to be sure of the Truth.

Confidence comes from knowing!

When you know the Truth, confidence comes so easy, and it straightforwardly persuades boldness to accompany.

I cannot remember being void of confidence. Perhaps it comes from being the firstborn and only child for eight years. Or maybe because my Father called me and His Son saved me when I was a nine-year-old. There’s a possibility it’s grown in me because I’ve chosen obedience to His Word—because I so desperately desire to show Him how much I love Him!

Jesus is the Way, Truth, and LifeAll I know is that He’s so blessed me to reveal so much of His Truth; through His Word, He shows me the Way, and gives me the Life I long to live in His service. All this gives me confidence. And in that confidence of knowing the Truth, I am bold to proclaim it.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

Whether friends, family, or anyone else agrees is irrelevant . . . at least to me. If in my heart, I believe (because I’ve seen it in the Word) then sharing the Good News comes easily. I’m bold with confidence to shout my testimonies of His love and provision to the world!

Insecurity, Insignificance, and InadequacyWhat works against our confidence in the Truth? Insecurity, Insignificance, and Inadequacy hound His children; they are terrible adjectives to embrace! Rebuke and refuse them! Nowhere in His Word will you discover that we are any of those things! What does that tell you? They are lies when they lineup to us!

So when you go forth, when you speak up for justice, defend Truth, vilify lies . . . do it in confidence knowing the Truth is with you.

Caryl McAdoo shares how to have confidence at HeartWings Blog!

How can you know it?

2 Timothy:2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

I’m a Roger & Hammerstein enthusiast, grew up with all the great musicals, and right up near the top has to be the tunes from Sounds Of Music. How the songs swept my heart along! Sweet Maria sang:

♪♫♪ • I have confidence in sunshine!*•.♪♫♪ I have confidence in rain!✫♪♪♫♪•✫I have confidence♥*¨*•.in confidence alone! ! ♪♫•✫*♪.♪ in confidence alone! ♫♪♥♪✫Besides what you see,♪•*♫♪ I have confidence in me!¨*•♫♪♫♪•✫ *•.♪♫♪✫♥.♪

Only because I have Jesus in me and therefore, the Truth in me! Truth brings confidence!

May God bless you with Truth and knowledge and wisdom!
