When all you have known is about to change and you have no idea what will come next, do you fear what you can not see or do you trust your Creator?

We all have those moments in our lives that shake us to the core. For some, there are more than others. Some situations seem small compared to others, but they all have an impact on our lives. Some have us asking…

His response to  us, every time, is …

Isaiah 41:10 (HCSB)
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you in My righteous right hand.

What a relief it is to know that when we feel like our world is coming down around our ears, that God has us covered (Psalms 139:10). That He cares enough about us to provide a way, not out of the situation, but through it (Jeremiah 29:11). If I did not have this blessed assurance, I would be a wreck. I am sure many of you feel the same.

The hard part is making sure that we are truly listening for his instruction and not just looking at what we should logically be doing. Logic is good, but it is the exercising of our faith that helps it grow. We learn more about the heart of God when we decide to have faith in His plan rather than do what logic. If you are like me, this can be very difficult sometimes. I know that God won’t leave me out on a limb, but my ever analyzing brain can get in the way on some occasions.

Since the beginning of 2017, our family has been plagued with one of those situations. It hovers over us like a black cloud that refuses to go away. What we do in this moment in our lives will either make us scatter or bring us together under the umbrella of God’s provision. We may not like every decision that we come to, but we know that God is guiding us  through this. We will do our best to follow His lead even though we can not see what is beyond the horizon. He will not steer us wrong.

When God showed me the words “New Horizon” at the first of the year, He followed it with these exact words. Heartpinleah-tardivel

We were never promised that this life would be easy, but we were told not to let fear creep in to our conscious and keep our eyes on God’s will in our lives. Sometimes that entails stepping out in faith and count on the promise that He will walk us through the trials.

Are you in one of those moments now? Are you really trusting Him?

For your enjoyment, I made some verse images for you to save to your computer or device. Enjoy!
